Coming home to Ayurveda - Part 1

Ayurveda is often introduced as an ancient Indian system of medicine. But when you truly begin studying it, it feels less like learning something new and more like remembering something your body already knows. Three thousand years of observing life carefully: food, seasons, digestion, sleep, emotions, energy, nature, rhythm.

At its heart, Ayurveda is based on a very simple idea: we are not separate from nature. We are made of the same elements, governed by many of the same rhythms. And when we live too far away from those rhythms, the body begins to struggle.

What I love most about Ayurveda is that it makes you more observant about yourself and others.

It gives language to things many of us have felt — but never fully understood.

This course is my attempt to make a very deep and often overwhelming subject feel simple, intuitive, and alive.

You, if any of the below feel true:

  • You have been curious about Ayurveda for a while and have not known where to start.

  • You have read the wellness internet long enough to be tired of it, and you suspect there is something older and quieter and more useful underneath.

  • You have a relationship with your body — your digestion, your sleep, your energy, your moods — that you sense has more to teach you than the labs are saying.

  • You are a coach, a therapist, a parent, a nurturer — and you want a deeper lens for the people you already care for.

  • You are not looking to convert. You are looking to understand.

  • This course will give you the lens. What you do with it after — is yours.

Who is it for?

Who is it NOT for?

  • If you are looking for a meal plan, a calorie target, a supplement protocol, or a definitive answer to what should I eat? — this is not your course. Ayurveda's answer to that question is always it depends, and we will spend five mornings learning how to live with that answer.

  • If you are looking for medical advice for a specific condition (And please see a qualified doctor).

  • If you are looking for a quick fix — please be honest with yourself, and skip this one. We are building a vocabulary that will serve you for years. It is the opposite of fast.

What will you learn?

Day 1 · Monday · The Beginning. What Ayurveda actually is — and why it has so much to say to a modern life.

Day 2 · Tuesday · The Meeting. Where modern science and Ayurveda quietly agree — same body, two vocabularies.

Day 3 · Wednesday · The Climate. The anchor climate every cell wants thrives in. And the three doṣhas as how we drift away from it.

Day 4 · Thursday · The Grammar. Why the body has never been counting calories from food — it has been reading qualities of food.

Day 5 · Friday · The Architecture. The three pillars that hold a life up!

Note: This group program does not include personalized Dosha assessment but through the course, you will be able to ascertain what your doshas might possibly be in an intuitive way.
